Your booking, your photos, and how we handle your data.
We're upstairs on the 2nd floor, on the right side of the building at Laugavegur 11, 101 Reykjavík. Please let us know ahead of time if assistance is needed.
Parking: “Traðarkort” is the closest parking garage and there is plenty of street parking nearby — though it is usually metered.
We provide a privately booked experience with period-accurate clothing, weapons, and accessories. We decorate and guide you through the session in an original, authentic Viking fashion — it’s just us and your group, never mixed with strangers.
All photos taken during your session are included — on average 20+ shots per person, in solo and group combinations. Your full resolution digital gallery is delivered within a business day (usually sooner), treated with our signature look.
Personal usage rights included: social media, personal printing, personal business (LinkedIn profile photo, etc.).
Prohibited: using images for Iceland-related tourism promotion or in direct advertising of a product or service without permission.

You will receive a confirmation email with your booking details and a link to manage your appointment. Reschedule or cancel easily using that link — no phone call required.
Standard bookings: cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your session. No refund is issued for cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance.
Special events or bookings outside normal operating hours: one week’s notice is required unless otherwise agreed in advance.
All payments are processed securely through our booking system. You can select your preferred currency at checkout with no conversion fees.
Gift cards are available at mink.is/gjafabref and valid for 18 months from purchase. Delivered instantly as a custom PDF — perfect for printing or emailing.
We collect only what we need to deliver your booking: name, email, phone number, and payment details. Payment information is processed directly by our payment providers (Borgun/RPG, Apple Pay, Google Pay) and card numbers are never stored on our servers. Your gallery photos are hosted on SmugMug and shared via a private link sent to your email.
We share data only with: our payment processors, email delivery service, and booking system — strictly to operate the service. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Your rights: you can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@mink.is, or by managing your profile in your account dashboard (accessible via the link in any booking email). Booking records are retained for 7 years as required by Icelandic tax law; gallery links remain active for approximately one year after your session.
We respond to EU/UK GDPR, Canadian PIPEDA, California CCPA, and Australian Privacy Act requests.
To stop receiving marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email from us. Transactional booking emails (confirmation, reminders, gallery delivery) will still be sent so we can deliver the service you've paid for.
